Hey-hey. Now that my account has graduated from limbo to active duty (huzzah!), I can introduce myself. I'm in 3rd year chemical engineering here at U of T. I was going to go by "Gen" on this board, which is what everyone actually calls me, but there's apparently already one around here. Rather than confuse things, then, I figured I should probably not... confuse things. Thus the forum handle. If we meet in person, though, please call me Gen. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to getting involved with CP. I think it's a fantastic idea. I've helped out a little bit here and there this year and hopefully I'll be able to help out more in the future. (Side note: Apologies for being so scarce the past couple of weeks with helping out. I've been having a ridiculously heavy work load at school and have also just started a new job. If anyone needs help with stuff now, though, please let me know. Midterm season is finally over! Whew.) I look forward to getting to know everyone!

well Gen is actually a Gen... I'm really a Jenn who's never met a Gen before and thinks it's cool to spell her name in an unusual way. (an friend from elementary school called me Jenna) There's actually another jennifer here who thankfully goes by a diff alias. I understand Jennifer comes from Guinevere....

Architecture is cool, now here's someone who can draw scenery and backgrounds ^_^
The architecture building is awesome eh? I went there last year to find stuff for my essay and it seems another world in there... people discussing with profs about their designs, art displays and exhibitions everywhere, modernist furniture, a really cool library... it's like the design school in U of T ^_^

While I admit that the architecture building is nice, I'd highly suggest that you visit the new Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research (I think that's what it's called) on College St on the way to Queen's park subway station. They just finished it this fall and it. Is. Gorgeous. There are mini arboritums on at least two of the floors, with the trees spanning upwards multiple floors. *sigh* Maybe I'm just too easily impressed now because I spend most of my life in the Walberg Building. Hehehe Also, from one n00b to another: Welcome Suzy! I'll watch your back if you watch mine!

Okay, so I'm Wanda *waves* I'm a first year at UofT and I commute also (yes, I agree with Suzy how it sucks). I'm in life sciences and loooovve the crumpled paper magazine drawings ^^ I'm part of the layout/design team... I also looove Cindy's manga - it's so cute! (Just a random comment I had to add...)

Commuting sucks -although now for me it's the trip to work that blows. I will probably visit the new buildings. In 4th year, however, I realised that I had a Wallberg Threshold: There was only so much of the building I could take in a day and I'd have to go home. I once thought that WB could steal my soul -yeah it can get quite depressing. I think that it's healthy that green (i.e. plants) are being incorporated into building space. Speaking of building design -are there people that would be up to checking the AGO once it's been redesigned? Obviously after exams, of course!
