There are several anime conventions in Toronto every year.
There's a small one next weekend (March Toronto Anime Convention) on March 11 and 12 at the metro toronto convention center.
Anime North is in May.

Why is it called December when it happens in March?
And as for there being several anime cons each year, now Toronto Comicon is adding anime this year... A few more conventions added and I'll be all conned out.

... May I...? Anime North 2006 has just updated their information on Artists' Alley! Information can be found at: www.animenorth.com/docs/alleypolicy_2006.pdfor, www.animenorth.com/artist_alley.phpApparently, it is cheaper this year, but the price does not include a weekend pass. This means, if there are any aspiring artists who wants to set up a table, but still haven't make arrangements for the weekend pass, you'll probably want to talk to me as soon as possible.

A few more conventions added and I'll be all conned out. That was a typo. The Toronto Anime Convention is held twice a year, once in March and once in December.

... May I...?
If you want to set up a table, you'll need to register with the AN organisers. The price listed for this year does not include the weekend pass (I also think they've changed some of the rules regarding Artists' Alley.... You'll need to check up on that.)
What I can do for you is to get you a group pass for the weekend (by signing up with me for the advanced passes, you'll save quite a bit on the money). The pass is $30.00 per person for the whole weekend.
If you are intersted, contact me as soon as possible (the deadline is March 17... and I plan to send the information out before the deadline). You can find me at my e-mail address l_valois@hotmail.com.

I got my confirmation. Also, I'm considering shaving on sunday and going as Leorio from Hunter x Hunter (the guy from Wayne's avatar) Pretty easy to cosplay - Just a suit with shades (luckily I have clip-ons). I'll probably need to bring the checkered suitcase though D: Everyone else should cosplay.

... May I...? You're right... we should all go in some form of cosplay. Personally, I consider my last year a bust... so... I'll be going from a popular series this year. However, since I've never had any great love for easily recognisable characters (what's the fun in that...?), I'll be going as an important side character. The series? Final Fantasy VII, Advent Children. The target? Rufus Shinra, the C.E.O. of the Shinra Company. Here he is: If anyone else is thinking about cosplay, post it on!
