Hey,
Look alive people! Write about your favorite artist (painter, writer, musician, poet, animator -or any pro/semi-pro/self-professed-pro related to art).
It'd be good to hear points of views, or knock peoples' poetry, or hear about the other CP Alum.
Lemme start by saying:
--> My band hasn't done a gig since the CP fundraiser show. There is one in the cards for the fall, and it's going to be better than ever. Another fundraiser show? Perhaps next spring. If it happens, it will be more bands and at an establishment. It would also bring in more $$
--> I graduated and am working a job that's almost like a dead end. Still a maverick, tho and searching for new and strange possibilities.
--> Anyone seen the Warhol exhibit at the AGO? I saw the one in 1998, and I heard this one is way better. It's running until Oct, so would anyone else be interested? Maybe we can score a group rate? Maybe someone can write an article about it in the new CP?
That's it from my end.
Not-So-Illustrious Alumnus,
Tim Taw

This place is dead but only because no one posts anything interested and I think we're too busy to check it frequently.
I would prefer if everyone used this place instead of emails. My inbox is really full : (

Yeah, I haven't done much drawing ever since the beginning of school year... not even in-class scribbles ! But I'd love to see other people's (or even better, the new members!) new works though~ Oh, and I heard from Genna that she's liking her life in med school a lot

*wants to see* On a totally unrelated topic, I just found out today that with careful design, we can generate music using our signal processing simulation software... *dies*

...Yay, music? Is that actually a feature, Liz, or is it an improvisation? Amit: I would DEFINITELY be interested in checking out the Warhol exhibit. Some of my friends have gone and said it was really interesting. When I was in London, England a couple of years ago, I visited a temporary Dali exhibition. Absolutely incredible stuff. I think I spent over an hour just in that one (admittedly cavernous) room. My poor cousin went with me, finished in about 20 mins and left the exhibit thinking I was almost done, too. I completely lost track of time, though, and didn't even realise how long I'd been in there until I found her looking bored on the curb outside.

I've been taking photographs on my drives to and from work. I got to organize them. I've also taken some cool shots over this summer. I need a scanner. Then I need to go digital!
